Brengun produces a wide range of unique resin and photo-etch accessories in 1/32, 1/48, 1/72, as well as 1/144.

This item covers a unique subject that will assist outfitting a wide variety of aircraft. There are resin chaff/flare dispensers produced for a specific subject complete with their entire mounting. This accessory will allow the modeler to add it to kits where fidelity is poor or completely missing, as well as add it on aircraft kits where a version specific resin update is not available.

Packaged is a cardboard backed bag, there are three identical sets containing ten dispensers each. Of the ten dispensers, there are eight different configurations. Seven 30 shot dispensers with two fully "spent" flares, two unused flares and three in various used/unused configurations. The remaining three are the 15-shot style with one each in unused, fully used, and partially used dispenser. There is a very slight texture that can be seen in the photos but that will vanish after any sanding or after paint is applied.

These universal dispensers will be a lifesaver when added to an existing model, or scratch building pylons or custom mounts. As standard practice, check your references on what style (shot number) is used and what color to paint the openings. For comparison, you can see on the Revell F-15E which has all the dispensers covered, these are a must. Compared to the Tamiya F-16C, they are a vast improvement. It is nice to see something we all consider enhancing or adding on many kits, but usually just stick with the kit's offerings. Hopefully this same set will be available in 1/72, 1/35, and 1/32 scales sometime soon. Special thanks to Brengun for this very nice set.
