Lifelike Decals continues its superb line of 1/72 decals with 5 options for the Hasegawa kit. The decals are perfectly in register and are printed by Cartograf. The instruction sheets are superb being full color and having side profiles of all five aircraft. There is also a very thoroughly research paint scheme and stencil instructions.

The five aircraft represent the following:

  1. Army Transportation Unit, 2nd Hikotai, Ohta AB/Gunma Pref flown by Lt. Shuho Yamana with a white tiger on the tail, Fall 1944
  2. 57th Shinbu-Tai, Shimodate AB/Ibaraki Pref flown by Corporal Hajime Shimizu, May 1945
  3. 2nd Chutai, 85th Sentai, Hankou AB/China flown by Lt Col Yukioshi Wakamatsu, December 1944
  4. 105th Fighter Training Hikoutai, Kita-Ise AB August 1945
  5. 50th Sentai, 1st Chutai flown by W.O. Yojiro Obusa, Phnom Penh AB, Indo-China April 1945

These decals are superb with excellent subjects, research and execution. Being printed by Cartograf means they will apply well also.

These decals are highly recommended to all fans of the Hayate. My thanks to Lifelike and IPMS/USa for the chance to review them.
