Quickboost just added another fine addition to their list of after market parts. This time they have done the much needed and awaited correction to the Hasegawa B-24 Liberator, the front undercarriage doors. It is up to their usual standards; molded in a cream colored resin, smooth, seamless and bubble free. One thing of note is that they are really easy to remove from the mold block because of a nice perforation. It only takes a couple of minutes with a saw blade and a gentle touch to remove them. Just make sure not to get too over zealous or the part may snap.

I went looking in my stash and I found that none of the B-24 kits I have were Hasegawa. I'm sure I'll remedy that eventually. Luckily, Jim Pearsall had done the review for the Hasegawa B-24D and let me have the instructions and photos as well as the reason for the Quickboost correction. It turns out that the doors are put in wrong on the kit. As you can see from the photo of the kit the doors are shown outward when the wheels are down when in reality they go up into the wheel well. Now you won't have to try and fix this error on your own, just get a hold of this Quickboost set and just pop it in for a quick fix.

Thank you, Quickboost!

I highly recommend this product because of how it fixes a known problem with the Hasegawa kit. Usually replacement parts need some work to get them installed properly but these replacement doors should just drop into place. Thanks to Quickboost and IPMS USA for the chance to do this review.
